Brevo Pricing 2026: What Each Plan Really Costs You
Live plan pages, prepaid credit prices and ratings from four review platforms, checked on November 6, 2026.
Summary
Brevo pricing is built around emails sent per month, not contacts stored. The Free plan allows 300 emails a day, Starter begins at $9 a month and Standard at $18, while Professional jumps to $499 for 150,000 sends. A 20,000-email month costs about $32 on Starter and $69 on Standard. G2 rates Brevo 4.5 out of 5 across 2,749 reviews and Trustpilot 3.8 across 7,251. Our verdict is 8.0 out of 10: strong value below 100,000 sends, with account suspensions and the Professional cliff as the main risks.
Brevo is an all-in-one email, SMS and CRM platform that bills by emails sent, which makes it cheap for big lists with modest sending. A 20,000-email month costs about $32 on Starter. G2 gives it 4.5 out of 5 across 2,749 reviews, but Professional starts at $499 and Trustpilot sits at 3.8. Verdict: 8.0/10. Best for small senders, weaker once volume passes 150,000.

How we built this pricing review
- Version tested
- Live brevo.com pricing, plan comparison and pay-as-you-go pages, audited November 6, 2026
- Test period
- 2026-11-06 → 2026-11-06
This is a desk audit, not a hands-on licence test, and we say so up front. On November 6, 2026 we loaded Brevo's live pricing page, its full plan comparison table and the pay-as-you-go page, and captured our own screenshots of each. We read the comparison table row by row. For the price per send volume we relied on a published hands-on test by Omnisend, a competitor, so we treat its numbers as a cross-check and quote the Brevo page wherever the two overlap. For satisfaction we read G2 (2,749 reviews), Capterra (3,092), Trustpilot (7,251), the Shopify App Store listing for Brevo's app and Reddit threads on suspensions. Brevo's own reviews page is curated by the vendor, so we use it only for themes.
Should you price out Brevo?
YES if you...
- Newsletter owners with a large list who send a few times a month
- Small shops that need email, SMS and transactional messages under one login
- Developers who want an SMTP relay and an API on a free plan
NO if you...
- Teams sending 150,000+ emails a month who expect mid-tier pricing
- Senders who cannot risk a first-campaign account review
- Shopify-first brands that want deep ecommerce segmentation out of the box

Hidden costs & gotchas
- Logo removal on Starter is $10.80 a month, so the real entry price for a clean email is about $19.80
- SMS credits are sold separately, from $1.09 per 100 US messages in Omnisend's test
- Sales Essentials starts at $27.92 a month and Sales Advanced at $58.50 per user on the annual toggle
- Dedicated IP is an add-on on Professional, at about $251 a year per IP in Omnisend's test
- SSO and SAML cost about $324 a month on Professional and are included only on Enterprise
Four paid tiers, one toggle that saves 10%
A green banner announces the free plan, then a switch that is already set to yearly. That matters: the $8.08 and $16.17 you see first are annual prices, with the monthly price struck through. Enterprise starts at $2,499 and sends you to sales. Annual billing on Standard saves about $22 a year, and on Professional about $599.
- Yearly billing is pre-selected on the page
- Standard carries the Most Popular badge
- Only Professional and Enterprise push you to talk to sales
Where the plan lines are drawn
The comparison table shows the limits that the plan cards leave out. Free sends 300 emails a day, Starter goes up to 100,000 a month, Standard up to 500,000 and Professional up to 10 million. Multichannel automation is capped at 2,000 contacts on Free and Starter. Contact limits run from 100,000 on Free to 2 million on Professional.
- 300 a day on Free, 100,000 a month on Starter
- A/B testing and heatmaps start at Standard
- Popups, WhatsApp and phone support start at Professional
Brevo pricing in numbers

Pros and cons
Pros
- Billing follows sends, not list size A reviewer on G2 contrasts this with Mailchimp and ActiveCampaign. For a large list mailed lightly, the bill stays low.
- A free plan with real limits you can plan around 300 emails a day, 100,000 contacts, transactional email and an SMTP relay cost nothing, which suits tests and small senders.
- Wide feature set below $100 a month Standard at $18 includes unlimited automation, A/B tests, AI send time and heatmaps, which other tools put on pricier plans.
Cons
- Professional costs $499 a month, $320 above Standard at 150,000 sends The step from $179 to $499 buys WhatsApp, popups, 10 seats and phone support. Many teams only need the volume.
- Accounts get suspended after a first import or first send Reddit threads describe a shutdown within an hour of uploading a list and a suspension at a 0.05% bounce rate. Trustpilot reviewers repeat it.
- Entry plans cap automation at 2,000 contacts Free and Starter allow multichannel automation only up to 2,000 contacts, so a large list needs Standard before workflows work for everyone.
- Support depends on your plan and can be slow Email-only support below Professional. In Omnisend's test a Shopify account-link ticket took 19 hours and 17 minutes to resolve.
Final verdict
Brevo pricing is honest in structure and generous at the bottom. Charging by emails sent rewards anyone with a big list and a modest schedule, and the numbers hold up: $9 for the first paid tier, $18 for automation and testing, and a free plan that works for a real newsletter. G2 and Capterra both give 4.5 out of 5.
The weak points are specific. Professional is a $499 step that bundles channels most senders do not need, Trustpilot sits at 3.8, and the suspension stories are too consistent to dismiss. Import clean data and expect to talk to support if your first campaign is flagged.
Buy it if you send under 150,000 emails a month and want email, SMS and transactional messages in one place. Look elsewhere if you need deep ecommerce segmentation, or if a locked account during a launch week would cost you more than the $30 a month you save.
- Value at low volume 9/10 $32 for 20,000 emails on Starter
- Value at scale 7/10 $499 Professional step at 150,000 sends
- Pricing transparency 8/10 Public numbers, but yearly toggle is pre-selected
- Free plan 8/10 300 emails a day, 100,000 contacts
- Ease of use 8.5/10 28 minutes from sign-up to scheduled campaign in a third-party test
- Support and account safety 6.5/10 Suspension reports on Reddit and Trustpilot
